Continuously Amazed ...

So I know that I've talked about my friend Maria at Persoanlized Sketches and Sentements before. Her art work is BEAUTIFUL, and in fact one of the first pieces I had commissioned was this piece of Texas Art for George. I loved it! She also did a rendering of a teacup using one of my grandmother's from my collection. I sust post a picture of the framed piece soon, but I digress.

Anyway, my dear friend (and military spouse too) never ceases to amaze me with her talent. I'd been trying to figure out what to have done for Baby George (Jamie) since George and I each have one. Its only fair! As many of you know we call him lil Monkey, because he's so active and brings a smile to everyone's face. I stopped by her page today and there it was ... scroll down on that post and you'll see it ... a little monkey! How could you not smile at that lil guy. Sure there's a chance I could win it in her drawing (HAppy 100th post, Maria!), but I've got to order it if not. What a perfect gift for Christmas, is not his first birthday in Februrary (you know I'm already planning it!)
