Yesterday out military and surrounding communities got a special visit ... from the the Kansas City Southern railroad's Holiday Express train. It was such a delight for the children.
The Holiday Express consists of two cabooses, a flatcar containing Santa's sleigh and reindeer, two converted box cars and a faux steam engine named Rudy.
We didn't get a chance to see it because we got home late from Housotn, but we did pass it while it was lite and it was a beautiful sight indeed.
Until our next cup of tea ...

Love it! The CPR does a Christmas train food drive and I always love to see those images, though I've never seen it in person. This must've been a great treat to see!
