Conversations with a toddler: Doing exactly what Mommy says ...

Earlier tonight Jamie was eating goldfish crackers and watching Dr. Seuss. When I went to the bathroom, I heard a knock on the door and Jamie asked for more goldfish.

"Do not get the goldfish. Mommy will be done in a minute." I said.

He said "Ok!" and runs off. I finish washing my hands and walk into the kitchen to this sight.

"I not get goldfish, Mommy! I get cookies!"
