Getting through it one day at a time ...

Sometimes keeping busy to the point of falling into bed exhausted is one way to get through a deployment ... sometimes curling up on the sofa with a good book, cup of tea and favorite blanket does the trick ...

Other times, dancing around in your livingroom in your favorite silk pajamas, a glass of wine and singing to the top of your lungs until you lose your voice does the trick ... that's all I have to day on that!!!

EVERYTHING you've mentioned are great ideas. I think my favorite is the good book, the cup of tea and the blankie...of course our dog Lily would have to be stretched out next to me. (and a good Cary Grant movie on TV would be good too:)
Blessings my friend.

One day at a time is the only way to go, as each day is different and brings different needs and feelings. Somethings work fine one day, but another day you need something else. Somedays it is all you can do to just put one foot in front of the other. The important thing is you keep going, looking forward till when he'll be home (or whatever circumstance you may be that it will change). Hang in there {{hugs}}.

It's exhaustion for me!

Last time it was a good book.

What I wouldn't do right now to read a good book!
