Today Jamie's school hosted a Muffins with mom breakfast for Mother's Day. I got a pretty card and Jamie did his best to shove muffins in my mouth -- literally!

Happy Mother's Day just a little bit late. Jamie is adorable and growing so fast. All of these special moments mean so much when they happen....don't they?
This year I received the best possible gift a military mom can receive - being able to spend it with Laurie who had just returned from a year long deployment in Afghanistan. The best part was watching her and Kasey enjoy the day together. Even at my age, we just never know when a mom's life will be more blessed than ever.
