Today has been an "active day" for Jamie. He barely gets started on one activity before he's running off to do another. Of course, our day started at 5:30 a.m. because the pup felt it important to scratch at Jamie's door, then go back to his bed in my room and go to sleep while I get up and entertain a slightly grumpy monkey.
So far, he has video chatted with Daddy, watched all 5 of the Bob the Builder episodes we have recorded, "helped" me get groceries and pointing over EVERY number he saw in the grocery store, had playtime, destroyed the livingroom in order to build a fort from the sofa cushions and EVERY blanket and pillow he had access to (and some he wasn't suppose to get- like the linen closet), and had puzzle time and built a tower with the wipes, paper towels and toilet paper from the grocery store, only to knock it down ... and repeat!!

So just before lunchtime, he finally settled down and was coloring ...
He sat there patiently coloring in his Bob the Builder book for about 15 minutes when the dog barked to go ourside. I went to the back door and opened it so the pup could use the doggie door and when I returned this is what I found ...
Busted!! He got caught coloring the table!! Needless to say, Jamie learned how to clean a table today!! {sigh} Oh, boy!! Just another day in paradise!!

Its great to see things as an adventure. The signs, smiles, crys, moans, frowns are all part of the love we share in the adventures as you say... of being mommsie.
He looks like a healthy, happy, intelligent boy! I think that the dog would be in the dog house, though. Do not wake sleeping children!
