Editor's Note: Wow! It kind of snuck up on me, this is my 600th post for this blog. I can't believe its been so long! I love all the new friends I made and sharing stories. Thanks to each of you for being there as we take this wild rollercoaster ride called "Military Life"!
And in other news ...
So yesterday I decided to take Jamie to the nearby park. It's nice -- has a seperate section for kids 2-5, then one for 6-12. There are a set of swings and a wide open field with a walking trail. Its set back from the road, so there's less worry about traffic.
Anyway, we've been going for a few months and really like it. Usually he plays ont he jungle gym and the swings, but for some reason today he was more interested in the trees, grass and benches ... here are a few photos from today's adventure:
First, he climbed up the slide (he likes to do things backwards) and played on the landing ...
Then he wandered about and rolled through the grass for a bit.
Finally the trees caught his attention and we climbed them a bit.
All in all it was a fun adventure!!
