Words of a generation ... Message for a nation

I am working on a paper about Vietnam for my master's program and came across this quot from President Kennedy's inagural address:

"Let every nation know whether it wished us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty."
